Paediatric Plus 

All of our Paediatric Plus packages are centred around the standard regulated 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course accepted by Ofsted and Early Years. 
The first aid element can be delivered by blended learning therefore reducing the classroom time to only one day of tutor led practical skills and assessment.  
Add two of the packages below to meet your own specific training needs.  
 
Package one - Health & Safety 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of H&S relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Health & Safety Qualification 
 
Package Two - Food Safety 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of Food Safety relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Food Safety Qualification 
 
Package Three - Risk Assessment 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of Risk Assessment relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Risk Assessment Qualification 
 
 
Package Four - Manual Handling 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of Manual Handling relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Manual Handling Qualification 
 
 
Package Five - Emergency Paediatric First Aid 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led practical training and assessment. 
This qualification provides the knowledge and skills for first aiders working in early years environments. Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and ununderstanding of emergency paediatric first aid as outlined by the Department of Education, September 2016. 
This results in a regulated Level 3 EPFA Qualification. 
 
Package Six - Fire Marshal 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover all aspects of Fire Safety relevant to the school environment and will include a discussion around current policy in place if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Fire Marshal Qualification 
 
Package Seven - Outdoor Food Safety 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of Food Safety relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated Level 2 Food Safety Qualification 
 
Package Eight - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led training and assessment. 
The course will cover aspects of COSHH relevant to your environment and current policy may be discussed if appropriate. 
This results in a regulated COSHH Qualification. 
 
Package Nine - Emergency First Aid at Work 
Approximately 3 hours of prior study followed by 3 hours of tutor led practical training and assessment. 
This qualification is aimed those looking to undertake the role of an Emergency first aider in the workplace, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 
(Northern Ireland) 1982. 
This results in a regulated Level 3 EFAW Qualification 
The First Aid element can be delivered over one or two days, the other two elements must be delivered on the same day however the delegates can be different for each qualification.
