FIRST AID TRAINING
3 Hour First Aid at Home Workshop
This interactive workshop is aimed at everyone who wants an understanding of Emergency First Aid in the Home. It is ideal for anyone who would like to know how to deal with common First Aid concerns in and around the home. It will be specifically tailored to those on the course and can cover Rural incidents, Paediatric, elderly, sports injuries etc.This course can be delivered at a venue of your choosing for groups of up to 20 delegates.
Who is this qualification for?
This course covers practical advice and treatment for all common household illness and injury. It can be adapted for any specific audience i.e. elderly, rural or young family. It is a favourite for parents and carers in order to address some common First Aid concerns.
Where and When?
The course can be delivered at your venue on a date suitable to your needs. We could source a suitable venue on your behalf and also run several open courses at our own venues.
There is no assessment all candidates will receive a First Aid at Home certificate. Under current guidelines it is recommended that all First Aid Training is refreshed and updated annually.
How long will it take?
2-3 hours of tutor led practical learning.
Managing First Aid incidents.
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty who is/is not breathing normally.
Controlling major bleeding.

Each session starts with a group discussion identifying any addition concerns held which will be addressed throughout the workshop if appropriate.
The cost of the course for up to 20 delegates is £15 per person when delivered at your own venue.
I need a minimum of 8 delegates to run a course.
(A free community Defibrillator awareness presentation is available for any full day (6hrs) of training purchased)
